Auspicious Slovakia: EU member Slovakia or the Slovak Republic as some prefer, is centrally situated in Europe and closely neighbours the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Ukraine and Hungary. Home to 5 million friendly, family orientated and mainly native Slovaks, this auspicious country is abundant with delights that range from inherent beauty spots amidst the white capped Carpathian mountains, forests, lakes and spas to the manmade majestic castles, ancient monuments and gothic castles that are all waiting to be admired. Boasting more than a handful of national parks and expanse amounts of undeveloped land, Slovakia simply shines with undeniable charismatic allure. The popular ski slopes are perhaps noteworthy too.

Slovakian property: Slovakia is thought by some to be naturally dazzling, far more than any of its bordering European neighbours, making it a prime target for investment making and holiday taking.  Bratislava’s already earmarked as the next big draw for investment in coming years and so, keeping this in mind, any potential investor looking to buy a second home for financial or recreational purposes should seriously consider a flat or apartment, cottage, chalet or villa in Slovakia.
Regions of Slovakia: Slovakia is subdivided into 8 self governing administrative regions/counties with each one’s name deriving from that of Bratislava, Slovakia’s largest city and capital. These 8 are further divided into a total of 79 predominantly tourism friendly districts.
Slovakian investment opportunities: Slovakia’slow cost yet educated labour force and equally low tax rates make it one of Europe’s most popular attractions for the foreign investment it strongly and openly encourages.  Naturally as one would expect, glorious Slovakia is a holiday hotspot as well as a renowned and well revered investment destination. Its highly affordable property prices have lead to high capital appreciation that in key areas has reached a rewarding 20%.   Perhaps above all else, it’s Slovakia’s EU given stability that makes its property market such an appealing prospect.
