Crimea is a beautiful autonomous coastal area near Ukraine. Many Eastern European coastal areas are starting to get popular now, but with Crimea, you don’t have to wait for it to get popular, it has been popular with tourists throughout the region — including the Russian Tsars – for generations.

It has a coastline to the Black Sea, and also a coastline to the Sea of Asov. It also has a perfect climate, warm but not too warm, and some of the best beaches in Europe. Crimea’s qualities attract tourists from throughout the region. And regional tourism is in some ways the best kind, because if global markets slow tourists from within the region will still stay strong.

I actually believe places like Crimea and other emerging markets would benefit from a global slowdown, because their being some of the most gorgeous places in the world would attract even more attention from international tourists and tour operators who would see the potential for low-cost holidays in the sun and serenity.

What they would find is that Crimea has some of the best beaches in the world; miles and miles of golden sand, lapped at by the warm and clean waters of two oceans.
