DSR Asset Management has attributed the rise in enquiries for its development at Sousse in Tunisia to a range of factors including a more aggressive marketing campaign by the Tunisian tourist industry.

Tunisia is currently taking part in the 2009 edition of the Tokyo International Tourism Fair, which is held from 21 to 24 September.

Representatives of Tunisian travel agencies gave a presentation on “Tunisia as a holiday destination”; the talk which drew a great deal of attention among visitors and professionals was attended by a great number of Japanese tour operators and travel agents.

17 million Japanese travel each year. Tunisia intends to start a series of promotional campaigns, by the year 2010, to make its cultural heritage and tourism products better known to Japanese people.

This clearly places Tunisia in a very good position; they are only a few hours flight from most European destinations. Investors can look forward to global high rental demand”.
