This building was newly completed in the year 2000 and blends in harmoniously and stylish with the old building fabric. It is in a very popular location and offers an array of apartments with views towards the South, West or the 800 sqm spacious and quiet courtyard, views of the surrounding green area, and over the roofs of Berlin towards the Berlin Dom and the Alexanderplatz.
Big companies, numerous embassies and the seat of government including most of the Berlin government ministries are all situated nearby. There is also the famous Museum Island within a brief walk, not to mention a host of cafes, clubs restaurants and a vibrant nightlife, making it a perfect location for all age groups.
The Apartments:
Each apartment has parquet floors, the bathrooms are tiled and have a toilet, bathtub, and washbasin. They also have good size fitted kitchens with tiled floors, a tiled working area, connections for a washing machine, and include electrical appliances: dishwasher, electric stove (ceramic stovetop) with exhaust hood and refrigerator in good-sized kitchens. The apartments also offer generous living areas from the spacious 39sqm studio apartments through to the prestigious open plan three-bedroom apartments.
The Location:
Mitte is the most central district of Berlin (Mitte is German for centre). Mitte encompasses Berlin's historic core. The area includes some of the most important tourist sites of Berlin (like the Pergamon Museum, Brandenburg Gate, Charite and the Reichstag, among others), most of which were in East Berlin.
In 2001, Berlin's districts were reorganised the original district of Mitte, located entirely within the former East Berlin, was combined with the districts of Wedding and Tiergarten (both of which formerly belonged to West Berlin) to form the new Mitte district. The new district encompasses an area of 39.47 km and has, as of 2003, about 320,700 inhabitants. The quarters of Mitte are Gesundbrunnen, Hansaviertel, Mitte, Moabit, and Wedding.
The Weinbergpark, right next door to the property, is one of two greenest parks in this city centre location. Parks like this are a rarity in such locations where numerous new building developments have been built. You can reach the shopping mile, Kastanienallee, easily by foot which is filled with retail stores, clubs, cafes and restaurants. You can also reach Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt by foot in 5-7 minutes.
Access:
The development sits within a few minutes' walk to public transportation -- nearby Rosenthaler Platz underground station and bus lines. Numerous road connections converge on Mitte
