Stringent due diligence procedure
Here at DSR we have no qualms about making potential partners jump through metaphorical hoops in the name of client security, and as such our due diligence procedure is one of - if not - the strictest in the industry. Our potential partners are required to provide a stack of information and legal documents before we will even talk to them about partnering with us, and not just for our clients security but to ensure we maintain our reputation as a leading overseas investment property specialist.
Our experienced and deeply conscientious staff know about the severe pitfalls that investors can fall into when they don't do their homework properly, but how do new and inexperienced investors know what research to carry out and what questions to ask? I'm afraid the only way is to learn from experience, but why let a bad experience sour your property investment career or worse stop it before it gets off the ground? Especially when DSR are here to do all the homework for you to ensure that your first and every subsequent foray into international property investment goes as smoothly, and as profitably as possible.
By the time our potential partners get to the stage of exchanging contracts with us we know they are professional, that our investors will be treated properly and will get the best value -- exactly what they expect for their money. The stringent length of our due diligence endeavours alone sort the wheat from the chaff because the latter would surely balk at such hard work:
After the initial stack of paperwork has had the fine-tooth-comb treatment by our legal team, and discussions with the potential partner begin, they then need to answer at length over thirty well thought out and detailed questions, some for our benefit and some purely to ensure the client's money will be secure from deposit throughout building work till the keys are handed over.
We want our clients to know the lengths we go to in ensuring that we only work with partners who can equal our standard-setting levels of professionalism, and that any overseas property purchase with DSR is a safe one - so that our after sales care that lasts long after the purchase has been completed is hardly ever needed.
